Feasibility study of Light Capacity Metro at Rajkot

The Third-semester studio focused on undertaking a feasibility study for a Mass Rapid Transit System in a city, taking Rajkot as a case study. The whole studio was divided into two sections, where the first section was about Understanding the Concepts of MRTS, their system technology, rolling stock, system operations & maintenance, and their environmental and social impact.  In the second section feasibility of MRTS was assessed based on the Concepts understood in the first section. Detailed technical, financial, and economical feasibility was assessed for three specific modes- Light Capacity Metro Rail System, Bus Priority, and Metro Neo.  My focus was on the financial and economic analysis of the proposed Light capacity Metro.
