An understanding of Integrated Project Delivery was developed in this studio by focusing on BIM functionality and Lean principles by studying institutional residential development project at Ahmedabad. For this, the group members took on the roles of architect, structural consultant, MEPF consultant, contractor, and BIM coordinator to better understand stakeholder viewpoints and collaborative working. BIM execution plan describing workflow management process, Revit Modelling, Clash Detection, Quantity Take-Off, 4D & 5D Simulation, LPS Tracking, Site layout analysis were prepared and carried out applying BIM approach. Using Navisworks Manage and Synchro Pro, a 4D construction sequence of the scheduled activities was created and integrated with a 5D simulation to understand the financial implications during the building phase. For improved project visualization and monitoring, a variety of BIM technologies, including AR, and Dynamo are employed. Unlike the industry's conventional methods, the studio helped to make the advantages of implementing integrated project delivery strategies.
