Satisfaction and understanding of the occupants about eco-friendly features of selected buildings
While the trend is towards sustainability and offering “green” features in the buildings, the developers incur 5-8% extra cost for constructing such buildings. It therefore becomes important to find out the satisfaction level and level of understanding of the occupants about the eco-friendly features they are exposed to. Better understanding as well as satisfaction not only justifies the extra cost incurred while constructing such buildings but also provides feedback for future construction of similar-green and sustainable buildings. On the other hand, poor satisfaction level and understanding may call for occupant friendly intervention and modification in the features offered to them.
