Understanding and satisfaction are the most significant factors in improving the performance in one's work environment. The focus of this research was to see how well occupants understand and were satisfied with their IEQ in green and non-green buildings. This study was conducted through a post-occupancy survey in the form of questionnaire that included six IEQ variables that assessed the occupants' understanding and satisfaction with their current workplace. The questionnaire consisted of four sections, each focusing on the occupants' personal information, general information about the organisation, the types of work activities they undertake, their understanding and the satisfaction they experienced due to as a result of these features' availability. This aided in the research of the variables that generated discomfort and their effect on IEQ.
