The studio investigates into the idea of spaces that become locus for possible appropriations. The studios are set on an almost a kund-like plinth that enables varying degrees of intimacy where one can choose where to situate themselves. Flexibility is provided in these studios by turning walls, allowing one to have control over their environment and establish a sense of identity and belonging. The pit provides freedom and liberation by essentially being a single continuous plane that becomes a resource for various groups using it for their own practices to meet their needs, where one can construct models or simply take a rest. Hanging the more central lecture halls essentially focuses the formal areas in the center. The north-south walls make these lecture halls structural autonomous. The static-dynamic, formal-informal, are reflected by these walls, which nearly suggest growth.
