The studio explores the interaction between the articulated hypothesis and the tectonic materiality of different interior elements. It takes on three frames of reference: identities, standardization, and historical era. The hypothesis maintains its primary specific focus while modifying its route of intervention based on the three different functions of an interior designer described in the studio brief. “Juxtaposition of geometric forms creates spatial depth”.Using the hypothesis as a guide, role 1 focuses on assembling interior materials into a visual composition within an existing historical site. When we move to Role 2, the emphasis is on investigating the various ways an interior designer might make an impact on a standard location. Role 3 continues this evolution by utilizing the theories and concepts acquired from the jobs that came before it to create a visual without a specific site.the studio provides a distinct yet essential perspective for analyzing different internal elements from the perspective of tectonics. Engaging in exercises has increased my understanding of the subjects and their linkages throughout the semester.
