Making An Entry

The entry being the face of an institute is more than a mere transitional structure between spaces; it's a commitment to embodying its values, ideals, and aspirations. It is a representation of the place to the rest of the world. It is a setting that is both utilitarian and born out of meanings and narratives. Physically defined with adjectives relating to form, structure, and layout but its groundwork is greatly dependent upon cultural, climatic, geographical, and topological facts and stories. As an Industrial Designer, I think it's beautiful when tangible material is able to create a blend of experiences from the past with the requirements of the future in a symbolic yet effective way. “Making An Entry” studio introduced me to many ways in which I can transform ideas into objects that can create a difference and make this world a better place to live in.
