Treating objects as a specie, this project is a
study on how the virtues of the Munshi chair
are active in different worlds. The object and
time copulations create branches of the acts
of sitting, working, making of the object and
its behaviours in the world all exist in parallel
dimensions within the same reality. Each object
is the resultant of many events before it and after
it which exert meaning on it constantly. We can
be pawns or spectators but we cannot fathom
the whole. Through this multiverse of a museum
you make sense of the world a little bit more. The museum aims to address the butterfly
effect a singular decision produces as a ripple
in time. The objects and exhibits are metaphors,
time machines and portraits of relationships of
humane and mundane.
