Aerowave: Pedestrian Bridge at Kadiya Dhro

The design process commences with the analysis of the abstract flipping motion of a surfer, which serves as the primary source of inspiration. A comprehensive study of the motion is carried out, and its abstract two-dimensional diagrams are generated. The subsequent step entails transforming the diagrams into three-dimensional models utilizing diverse materials and techniques for model-making. These forms are further digitally refined, and several iterations are created. One specific iteration, along with its intended function (Bridge, in this case), is eventually chosen, and the structural details are resolved throughout the design process. The culminating output is a 1:50 scale physical model. Click here to see the entire portfolio.
