Havenesque - Creating urban escapes

Havenesque seeks to provide a safe and welcoming space for students in the bustling city of Ahmedabad. The name “Havenesque” comes from the combination of “haven” and “picturesque,” capturing the project’s essence of being a natural refuge within the city. The landscape design focuses on merging the built environment with nature to create a harmonious balance between the two. The greenery and natural elements of the site create a serene and peaceful ambiance that provides a much-needed escape from the overwhelming concrete mass of the site. Moreover, Havenesque seeks to create a sense of community among students. The design includes spaces which are characterised by the tree species helping the students create a bond with the space and multiple memories to take back with them. These spaces promote social interaction and provide an opportunity for students to connect with each other. With its unique combination of natural beauty and urban amenities, 'Havenesque' is truly a haven for students in the heart of the city.
