Globally half of the global population relies on On-site Sanitation Systems (OSS) requiring Fecal Sludge Management (FSM).
Amrut mission, majorly working to achieve the sustainable development goals and community participation and gender inclusivity.in case of Ujjain, to achieve this is to involve private players that will desludge Ujjain phase-by-phase in accordance with regulations to improve the faecal sludge management in that city. This report aims to identify private business models for FSM interventions, how they may partner with the government, how they can make money through it, and how to provide the best solution for all issues related to the FSSM in Ujjain. It also aims to participate in the climate action plan through community involvement and gender inclusivity.
