The provision of safe sanitation is a fundamental right outlined in Sustainable Development Goal 6, but the rapid growth of Indian cities strains the supply of basic water and sanitation. National programs have been implemented by the Indian government to ensure safe sanitation for all, yet challenges remain in providing equitable and sustainable services, particularly in small and medium-sized towns. This research focuses on achieving inclusive sanitation in Deesa, through the CWIS approach. The study serves as a comprehensive guide for medium-sized towns, highlighting innovative data collection and monitoring systems, as well as the enhancement of human and financial capacities.
