Guided by Niki Shah, Director (Urban Design), HCPDPM Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, this report evaluates the post-occupancy performance of the CG Road redevelopment project in Ahmedabad, India, and identifies areas for improvement. The study fills the research gap in the post-occupancy evaluation of public open spaces and provides design, management, and policy intervention recommendations. The methodology includes on-site observations, stakeholder interviews, and public perception surveys. The report's insights will be useful to city planners, policymakers, and urban designers/architects in creating sustainable and livable urban environments, informing future redevelopment efforts in Ahmedabad and other cities facing similar challenges.
