G1_P1_PROVISIONARY AND REGULATORY SUPPORT FOR HOMELESS

The studio aims at developing a citywide housing strategy to improve access to affordable and decent housing for all income groups. P1 strategy focuses on provisionary and regulatory support for homeless and construction worker. They are the most vulnerable group where individuals or families lack stability, basic shelter, amenities, safe neighbourhood, basic services and are exposed to various challenges. The portfolio additionally concentrates on government policies and frameworks for these urban poors and the initiatives taken to give them access to better life and health. There are proposals and reforms for better implementation of policies with multiple case studies illustrating the existing status and conditions of homeless and construction workers.
