G1_P2_In Situ Redevelopment of Slums

In-Situ Redevelopment of Slums with Public Private Partnership i.e., PPP Model is an effective strategy under PMAY (Urban) to improve the livelihood, habitat and social capital of the slum dwellers. This strategy involves private investment and the state acts as the enabler of the policy. The slums which are high/Low in population and vulnerable to its existing conditions are eligible under this strategy. Success of ISSR projects can be measured by positive reviews of the residents (Slum Dwellers), ULB receiving the positive premium & land asset generation for additional units, Developer receiving the TDR and free Sale land.
