Embodied Energy Calculation of Affordable housing projects in India.

In recent times, there has been an ongoing discussion on global warming. This phenomenon happens due to the entrapment of greenhouse gasses inside the earth's atmosphere, which occurs due to excessive levels of CO2 gas in our atmosphere, which, along with humans themselves, buildings are also significantly responsible. Particularly in India, the demand for affordable housing is well on the rise, and given the affordability, it is necessary to provide thermally comfortable spaces as well. This study will try to establish a link between the thermal comfort of the spaces and to quantify the carbon footprint of the building and also, establish a trend if any.
