Evolving Forms: A Journey Through the Grammar of Design

The Grammar of Form-Making Studio deepened my understanding of form creation and its importance in design. Through various exercises, I explored the transformation of ideas into tangible forms. Beginning with Metamorphosis, I studied Gufa sketches to understand organic evolution in design. The Architectural Assemblage group exercise challenged me to integrate my model with others, emphasizing spatial harmony and adaptability. The Midterm Repair exercise taught me to restore and enhance existing forms with innovative solutions. Finally, in the Lighthouse project, I combined narrative, geometry, and detailed orthographic and 3D representations. These exercises collectively elevated my design approach, reinforcing the significance of form-making in any creative field.
