The proposed program integrates a hydroponic farming system, research center, and seed conservation center within a single facility designed to address the challenges of the old city of Ahmedabad. The hydroponic system aims to tackle the lack of green spaces by introducing the farm to table concept experience , and promoting sustainable practices. The research center will focus on innovative agricultural techniques, urban sustainability, and conservation, fostering a hub of knowledge and innovation within the old city. The seed conservation will serve as a crucial repository for preserving indigenous plant species, in a rapidly urbanizing environment. The program becomes a public- private institution for people and researchers.
