PHOOLCUT - A systematic flower depetalling device

Depetalling flowers, especially in an industrial scenario is a monotonous, time taking and cumbersome process. Companies such as phool and nirmalaya produce incense sticks from recylced waste flowers sourced from temples, religious sites etc and reduce said flower waste. Workers have to process over a tonne of flowers in a limited timeframe. Thus, the need for a way to reduce effort and increase productivity in this activity led to the development of ‘PhoolCut’.
PHOOLCUT is a systematic flower depetaller/ segregator which helps increase efficiency of the flower depetalling process by depetalling the flowers in bulk with minimal time and effort. Its use cases include but are not limited to : Flower incense stick manufacturing, rangoli making as well as other festival decorations, flower dye making, compost etc.
