Form Studies

The course is divided into seven exercises, starting with the basic Gestalt laws and culminating in a final project, such as designing a tea machine or a speaker. Each exercise begins with a brief, followed by an exploration phase to generate as many options as possible. The best option is then chosen based on feedback from others.
This approach emphasizes that design is for people. Our personal biases can sometimes cloud our judgment, so gathering outside opinions helps ensure that the intended message or function of the design is effectively communicated.
