Piece of the World - World Building through Research, Storytelling and Animation

Picture this: It''s the year 2555 AD, and the world is slowly recovering from a series of catastrophic events, both manmade and natural. Amidst torrential storms, rising sea levels and land ravaging earthquakes, what’s left is just a tiny fraction of land. Piece of the world is an animated complication of humorous stories from this tiny new civilization that is learning from the past and looking towards surviving and working together in harmony and peace. Exploring nuances of life in this challenging world driven by hope and collaboration.
This animation based studio will allow the students to immerse themselves in building their own miniature world and create short animated tales set within its dystopian future. It is designed to impart basics of story writing, set design, stop motion animation, and film post production. This exhaustive studio guides you from the inception of your idea to the completion of a film. Geared towards dedicated learners, we prioritize individuals enthused in working with: Hands-on and DIY, set design, visualization, sculpting, storytelling, musicians, sound designers, cinematography or creative problem solvers. Even though the film is a work of fiction, it will be underpinned by thorough research to lend authenticity to its imaginative world.
