Trish's Piece In The World

Trish's Piece In The World  showcases my journey through the studio, PIECE OF THE WORLD, guided by Gaurav Juyal. Over the course of this project, I came to understand the sheer dedication and creativity required to bring an animation to life even if it’s just a few seconds long. It was an incredible insight into the meticulous processes behind the scenes of professional animation studios, and looking back, I am proud of the growth and skills I’ve gained. During this time, I explored a variety of techniques across both physical and digital animation mediums. I was introduced to essential tools and workflows that are fundamental to producing animations. Additionally, I had the chance to sharpen my model-making and drawing skills, which were areas I’d been eager to develop further. I initially thought this experience would offer a focused look at animation creation, but it turned out to be a much broader exploration. Working in stop-motion animation required extensive preparation from designing sets and characters to planning sequences in great detail. This hands-on approach gave the work a tangible quality that wouldn’t have been possible with fully digital methods. Though four months is a relatively short period to dive into such a complex craft, the experience has been deeply enriching. It’s shown me how animation is more than just storytelling it’s about building entire worlds. What I gained here is far more valuable than just technical knowledge; it’s a new way of approaching creativity.
