Secrets to Sculpting Products: Unravelling Design Details

In an era where innovation drives product development across various industries, understanding the intricacies of designing products with complex technological components is imperative. There is a potential to improve people's lives in this age of rapid technological advancements by providing them with new experiences and making their lives easier through creative designs. From consumer electronics to automotive, the demand for designers who can seamlessly integrate form and function in technically intricate products is ever-growing. An idea becomes a reality only if followed by meticulous execution and in the world of design the execution is emerged form the process called design thinking. The studio focuses from this idea of marrying two important aspect of design thinking which is design and manufacturing. The course encapsulates the essence of the entire design process with a final outcome in a form of a household appliance which emerges from research and opportunities created by studying the users, existing products and identifying potential solutions. A greater emphasis is given on the workings and manufacturing of the products. The learning would be a comprehensive understanding of how to conceptualize, design, and execute technically complex products that meet both user needs and technological requirements.
