Through the Aperture: Choreographing Quarry’s Lens

The design focuses on how an aperture can frame scenes/spaces within an already existing scene/space. A series of  parabolic constructs when positioned along one axis allows multiple scenes to co-exist. These constructs when moved along the axis amplifies action and establishes the foreground domain.
The site quarry is difficult to see as whole, with  its beauty lying in its revelation through journey. Franz Kafka’s play also follows a similar revelation narrative. Building on the same curiosity and ambiguity, a series of mirror are placed opposite along the axis of these constructions, from which the audience will witness the play.
