The project aims to analyze the effectiveness of In Situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) as a strategy for improving urban housing while ensuring inclusivity, well-being and social upliftment of the dwellers. The work explores stakeholder roles and focuses on housing quality, social impact, economic viability, and vulnerability considerations. The outcomes include recommendations for bridging systemic gaps between policy and implementation, ways for improvement of their livelihood and capacity building, strengthening RWAs to help these residents with the journey of change by making them self-reliant contributing to sustainable urban development.
