Soil Strength Rejuvenated with Green Admixtures

This project focused on enhancing SC soil (clayey sand) properties using Ceramic Powder and Waste Foundry Sand (WFS) as sustainable stabilizers. The optimal combination (15% Ceramic Powder and 7.5% WFS) significantly improved soil strength and reduced shrink-swell behavior, making it suitable for road and pavement subgrades. Ceramic Powder increased strength by enhancing the clayey fraction, while WFS balanced density and shrinkage. This approach not only utilized industrial waste effectively but also provided a cost-efficient, eco-friendly solution for soil stabilization, contributing to durable and sustainable construction practices.
