The studio revolves around tools and techniques to preserve existing structure. In the current scenario, there is not much of constructable space available to city builders and developers. However, for sustainable development, it's crucial to preserve existing structures. Repair and rehabilitation of these structures will play a key role in the industry’s future. In this studio, a comprehensive study will be conducted that focus on structural failure, repair, and rehabilitation, giving us the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for sustainable building techniques. This includes studying and analysing old structure that has damages via different Non Destructive Tests and offering a solution using various methods like Jacketing, FRP Application & MS Plates application in beams & columns to extend its life cycle.
