Structural Rehabilitation

As a student working on a studio in Structural Rehabilitation, we began by conducting non-destructive tests (NDT) on columns to understand the behavior of rigid structures and identify issues like cracks caused by loads and chemical factors such as carbonation, chloride attack, and reinforcement corrosion. I studied other rehabilitation causes, including structural aging and increased load demands. I then explored strengthening techniques like jacketing, FRP wrapping, and steel plate reinforcement, analyzed structural elements under 2 kN/m² and 5 kN/m² loads, addressed failures, and prepared technical drawings to ensure durability and safety.
