This project undertakes the analysis and redesign of the Kargil Intersection and its surrounding urban transport network in Ahmedabad. Key challenges such as traffic congestion, illegal parking, and limited public transit access were identified through detailed traffic studies and public surveys. Proposed interventions include dynamic signalization, pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, and an integrated transit system featuring dedicated bus lanes and e-vehicle-based feeder services. The project sets a foundation for sustainable urban mobility, addressing immediate issues while paving the way for long-term, scalable transport solutions.
