Faceted Frames | A Place for Wellness in Mandu

The centre for wellness emerged from the concept of the built form being a mere vessel through which the vast landscape of Mandu could be viewed. It encompasses multiple funnel-like, faceted modules of distinct volumes that originate from the rock face of the basalt plateau serving as the backdrop. The programmatic spaces are highlighted through delicate frames of concrete in contrast with the dark stone. The varying degree of the two materials comes together with changing volumes, to offer different experiences of touch, texture and light in each space.
