"How might the essence of a bygone era be resurrected through the landscape, evoking the spirit of a place long past?"
A typical cross-section of the second radial road at BHU consists of the hostel block and its corresponding playground separated by a six-meter-wide road and two-meter-tall compound walls. While the campus feels like it is built on a fairly flat land, the edge of the road slopes down to match the level of the playgrounds. This feature of the landscape suggests being remnants of something that once existed. The mounds aim to seamlessly blur the boundaries once again.
