The project is a result of a speculated world of 2077. The building draws cues of form from objects and is situated in an imaginative context. The design intent is to retain the initial object-like qualities while still responding to its context. Hence, changing the scale of an equipment-like object to that of a building was done to respond to a desert-stricken context and for water-finding researchers. Apart from conventional water conservation techniques, cutting-edge technology for water generation is speculated for 2077. There can be an intervention of the public in research workspaces.
