The program includes building of a musorial (museum + memorial) with experiential spaces. This Charlie-Chaplin memorial has a movie theater where movies of Charlie Chaplin would be screened along with an amphitheater for drama and music. In addition it also has a cafeteria and a souvenir shop. The memorial aims to bring out the humor that Charlie Chaplin brought back into the lives of the people amidst the chaos of World War 2 and other dominant notions prevailing in the society. The memorial attempts to make the visitor laugh through the journey. Humorous space making therefore forms the basic intent of the memorial which is brought by elements of architecture like staircase, walls and elements of humor like in congruence, surprise, inversion and exaggeration.
