“We believe that architecture is about curating human experiences using character as a tool. Good architecture has the power to create experiential spaces through simple ways of using minimum resources.”
Space ideally should possess a distinctive character, capable of offering a diverse spectrum of encounters. The default character of any building is Banal, which is why most of the buildings in our cities are trite. While I appreciate the modernist approach of prioritizing function, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, neglecting user-centric design and the creation of immersive spaces leads to bland buildings. This results in a loss of character and meaningful experiences that fail to evoke emotions, leading to BANALITY.
