The studio will teach students to develop an ability to sensitively understand contextual scale in terms of Interiors using predefined volumns.
The contextual study will give them an understanding on how to comprehend a given site(s), surroundings and user group. Proportion study will make them understand the scale of an insert in a contextual site.
In Program development students will learn new methodology to develop contextual brief based on site visits, case studies and subject. Further they will come up with an appropriate program and brief along with defining their context (site/program). The ability to analyse and interpret information as relevant to space designing will be covered in concept development and final design insert.
Each part will have new visualizations in the form of different mediums. Students will learn to represent their understanding and design concept in form of visuals, technical drawings and 3D renderings as a final design proposal.
