PINCEPTION is a customisable brooch with a kinetic element. It displays a small avatar of the user that can perform a looping set of movements - like a wave, a short dance move, or some expressive gestures. Turning the outer ring activates these motions, which repeat every rotation. This done through a mechanical ‘program’, which can be swapped out. The avatar can be customised by choosing from a set of faces, hair and body parts. This gives the user freedom to choose both the motion and the look of the avatar on the brooch.
