This research explores how experience design and digital tools enhance guest experiences and streamline operations in artist residencies, particularly focusing on Spacehouse Himalayas. Employing service design methods and drawing from hospitality industry literature, it addresses the lack of research in this area. Recognizing the importance of human touch alongside digital tools, it highlights the value of holistic experiences. Conducted on-site in a remote setting with low literacy staff, the study emphasizes the necessity of digital tools. Insights gained offer implications for enhancing guest experiences and operational efficiency in the broader hospitality industry.
