CINEMA AS A NETWORK OF FRAMES- An Animation Production H

The process of parametrizing is seen as the idea of layering one reference point- a parameter- with another to generate a space that caters best to the functional requirements of the program. The outcome is a juxtaposition of various parameters- each defining the subsequent spatial experience.

Nature as the starting point engaged the process with the idea of growth development and connections which later led to the development of the elemental language of the space. The Animation Production House is a workspace that encapsulates all the required spaces necessary to produce an animated film from the beginning to the end. The spaces are designed through a modular system that propagates through the space as per the functional requirement. Each module in turn is subdivided into areas with workspaces that open into a larger opening or interactive space- a progressive propagation of which leads to a consistent connect between all the spaces through large and small openings and interactive spaces leading to a series of spatial volumetric experiences as one might move through the space. The various parameters lead to a kit of parts that when combined and juxtaposed with one another generates not only a functional but also an experiential workspace.
The project is then culminated with the conclusion that- Parametrizing can help abstract parameters as various reference points that help in the modular development which in turn generates a space.
