Nolanverse - An Experiential Cinematic Space

The interior space planning project envisioned an experiential cinematic space, blending exhibition, library, communal seating, viewing gallery, immersive installations, interactive booths, performance amphitheatre, workshops, souvenir store, and café. Inspired by the natural system of oyster mushrooms, its geometry was parametrized, infusing the design with organic harmony. Furthermore, drawing from Christopher Nolan's cinematic universe, the concept of illusion was explored, with cinema itself being parametrized. The culmination of this process resulted in an aesthetically pleasing yet highly functional space, where the graceful forms of mushrooms intertwine seamlessly with the captivating allure of cinematic illusion, creating an immersive and enriching environment.
