PUBLIC HEALTH: BUSINESS PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, cities are placing considerable importance on public health. The SOM studio 2023 focused on evaluating and improving the efficiency and quality of services provided at Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs) in Ahmedabad. An extensive analysis of the service framework, encompassing the internal and external environment, and interface, was conducted through comprehensive surveys and process analysis tools. Addressing crucial challenges such as Queueing and Data Discrepancies within PHCs and CHCs, the strategy centered on Business Process Re-engineering, employing substantial technological advancements. The proposed measures emphasized effective Crowd Management, reducing Data Redundancy, and enhancing Patient flow to get enhanced results.
