In the studio for Urban Management and Governance, we studied the city's sewerage system. There are underground drainage pipes and a combined sewer system in the city. A significant number of residences in the city also have septic tanks. The wastewater from the partial city is dumped into the river, while the wastewater from the other half of the city is sent to STP. Pipeline extensions to STP, septic tank management and upkeep, and preventive maintenance were among the few recommendations  suggested.
