I - SWaRnIM (Integrated SWM in Rurban India Mission)

I-SWaRnIM tackles rural waste management by fostering collaboration between Nagar Palika (NP) and Gram Panchayats (GPs) within a 5-km radius. It aims to replicate urban success in waste management in growing rural areas. Challenges include coordination and funding. Proposed solutions involve Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and joint ventures under AUDA. These models leverage private sector resources and governmental oversight for sustainable waste management. With strategic planning, I-SWaRnIM can revolutionize rural waste management, ensuring environmental protection and community engagement while addressing logistical challenges between NPs and GPs.
