The area planning lab helped to create an understanding of how to envision a ward and planning with a holistic approach . The whole exercise was divided in several parts,an iterative process that proceeded from analysis of the ward , understanding people perspective, conducting interviews, compiling data,  documentation and finally arriving at a consolidated plan. The basic concept while planning and making interventions within the ward after the observations and analysis was to bridge a gap between the disparities existing within the ward in terms of living conditions and availability of resources by serving the last person &  last mile.
