Spatio -temporal dynamics of public private partnership projects in India
Public private partnership projects have been widely used in India for the delivery of infrastructure. The landscape of PPP projects in India showcase variety in terms of 1) type of PPP model, 2) type of client, 3) sector, 4) financial mechanism, 5) timeline and so on. The information on these parameters is available on databases like PPP India Database and World Bank Database of PPP projects. Further to this, the Government of India has launched a database for National Infrastructure Pipeline, indicating prospective PPP projects. The analysis of this data from these different sources can provide a valuable insight into evolution of PPP model in India and provide insights behind the unearthed trends, and provide directions for future improvements.
