The growing popularity of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Indian infrastructure, particularly for municipal solid waste (MSW) management, has highlighted the need for data synthesis. Existing databases, however, remain fragmented. To address the gap, this research presents a comprehensive database encompassing various Indian states. The data is extracted from national PPP cell, state PPP cells, municipal websites, and relevant publications. This analysis aims to provide insights into the current state, trends, and challenges in MSW management. The resulting knowledge will empower policymakers and stakeholders with invaluable insights. This will serve as a base for crafting future strategies and evidence-based decisions, ultimately paving the way for a more efficient and sustainable approach to solid waste management in India.
