The project aims to develop a comprehensive evaluation framework for assessing the Pedestrian Level of Service (PLOS) at railway stations in India, with a specific focus on the Kalupur Railway Station in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The framework will incorporate quantitative methods to analyze pedestrian flow, safety, accessibility, and overall user experience. By identifying and prioritizing key factors influencing PLOS, the project seeks to provide practical and applicable solutions for optimizing pedestrian amenities and fostering safer, more accessible, and enjoyable railway station environments. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the creation of pedestrian-friendly cities that enhance the quality of life for all residents and visitors.
