Follies Around The Banyan Tree : A Book Studio

The design is a book studio nestled beside a banyan tree, where a series of follies spiral outward from the tree, gradually breaking free. These follies are partially embedded in the ground, each at varying depths, creating subtle shifts in experience. A continuous loop emerges from the spiral and transforms into a bridge that connects the follies in diverse ways — hovering beside one, becoming an overhang, terrace, or floor in others. As the bridge integrates into the final folly, it widens and opens, symbolizing release. The project weaves connection, movement, and reflection into a site-responsive architectural journey
