From Thought to Volumes

This studio allowed us to collectively explore the relationship between form, material, and sketching. Through daily exercises, we refined our ability to communicate ideas visually and developed a shared design language rooted in observation and iteration. We learned how material properties influence form and structure. Sketching supported our process by helping us analyze proportions, test concepts quickly, and reflect on our design decisions. The studio emphasized experimentation and iteration, pushing us to move beyond fixed outcomes and embrace the evolving nature of making. By the end, we had built a diverse body of work that reflects our understanding in form-making.
