404: Identity Not Found is an abstract interactive installation that explores the complex dynamics of body image in educational space (schools) through metaphor of ants. Drawing from the behaviors of ants—symbolic of strength, resilience, and collective labor—the project shifts focus from external appearance to the value of internal action. In this experience, the user assumes the role of an ant, navigating a layered, systemic environment as the protagonist and the antagonist being influence of peer groups and the ways in which distort an individual's self-perception along with institutional authority—those who create and enforce beauty standards—adding another dimension to the forces shaping identity. The project uses movement and interaction to prompt reflection on how identity is influenced by overlapping structures: peer dynamics, cultural standards, and systems of authority. By removing overt representations and embracing metaphor, 404: Identity Not Found creates space for open-ended exploration and personal interpretation, inviting users to reconsider how identity is formed, perceived, and challenged within contemporary society
