Chalachal: Pauses that keep the Pulse Alive

This project aims to enhance the bustling junction between Pushkar’s main market and the Brahma Temple, where sacred rituals, commerce, and daily life converge. By revitalising open spaces, it will improve movement while creating room for pause, allowing pilgrims, vendors, residents, and visitors to coexist harmoniously. The focus is on accessibility, multi-faith use, and preserving the area’s organic flow without disrupting its vibrant functions. Rather than altering Pushkar’s essence, the goal is to enrich it through thoughtful public space design, ensuring better connectivity and harmony for all who pass through this lively crossroads.
